Metal forming and casting operations run presses at temperature and pressure around the clock, and the parts that fail are the ones absorbing both. Protech supplies Brandenburger platen insulation and pressure-resistant laminates, Busse heated platens, HAWE and HYDAC hydraulics, and the thermal oil and heating components that hold process temperature.
Brandenburger's pressure-resistant grades are the common thread here. They sit directly in the clamping-force path, insulating the platen from the press frame while carrying full pressure, which is a duty ordinary insulation cannot survive.
