Based in Salzbergen, Germany, CEDS has been engineering durable, application-specific drives for over 50 years; the line traces back to SSB Antriebstechnik (founded 1970) and the later SSB DURADRIVE brand, so we routinely help owners cross-reference older SSB nameplates to current parts.
CEDS builds asynchronous and synchronous servo motors, DC and torque motors, gearmotors with spur and worm gearing, and its own frequency converters, most of them engineered to a customer's exact voltage, flange, feedback, and brake specification rather than pulled from a generic catalog. That custom heritage is why the fastest path to the right replacement is the nameplate data or the failed unit itself.
