Wandres

We distribute and service Wandres micro-cleaning systems in the U.S. Wandres GmbH micro-cleaning, founded in 1981 in Buchenbach in Germany's Black Forest, builds contactless and low-contact systems that remove dust, fibers, swarf, and micro-particles from surfaces just before coating, lamination, printing, or assembly. That's the point where a single stray particle turns into a reject.

The core technology is the Sword Brush, a linear brush that combines fine, self-cleaning filaments with an integrated Tornado suction channel to lift particles off the surface and carry them away in a single pass. A pneumatically regulated pressure buffer keeps the filaments meeting the surface vertically, holding consistent wiping pressure across wavy or uneven material, and integrated ionising and micro-moistening neutralize static so fine dust releases from plastics, glass, and coated boards instead of clinging.

The full range spans stationary and moving formats, including Evomat and Cevomat units and the Fox Panel Cleaner for pressed blanks and boards; Sword Brush, Combi Sword Brush, and Tornado Channel for panels and laminates; the Web Sword Brush for continuous web, strip, and coil; the robot-mounted Robot Sword Brush Laura for contoured parts and car bodies; and manual tools such as the micro-cleaning suction gun and vac-blast cleaner for rework, blind holes, and crevices.

We stock and support these units with sales, spare parts, operator training, and application help, across furniture and panel production, sheet-metal and coil lines, glass and solar, converting (paper, film, foil, labels), and automotive finishing. Unlike compressed-air blow-off, which just relocates and re-deposits particles, Wandres systems dislodge them mechanically and capture them immediately for a genuinely clean, coat-ready surface.
