Our work sits in Danfoss Power Solutions: orbital motors, proportional and directional valves, pumps and steering units. These are the components that move machinery, and they are what U.S. plants and machine builders ask us to source.
Orbital motors are the volume item. They are low-speed, high-torque motors built around a gerotor or geroler element, and they drive conveyors, augers, winches, sweepers and steering. The OMP, OMR and OMH families cover most of the range, with OMS and OMT above them and the newer Orbital X generation raising torque capacity again.
The code number on the nameplate is the whole specification. Displacement, shaft type and size, port configuration, mounting flange and options are all encoded in one string, which is why two motors that look identical on a bench can be functionally different. Send the code exactly as printed and we can quote without a conversation about dimensions.
On the valve side, the PVG range is modular. Inlet, work and end sections bolt together so a bank is built to the machine's exact function count, with pressure compensation keeping each section's speed steady as load changes and load-sensing holding pump pressure only slightly above the highest demand. That is where the efficiency comes from, and it is also why a replacement section has to match the bank it joins.
Motors fail in a predictable order. Shaft seals go first, usually after contamination has been through the circuit, then the internal wear pair. A seal kit fitted early is a fraction of the cost of a motor, so it is worth looking at the fluid before assuming the motor is finished.
We source Danfoss Power Solutions components and seal kits for North American machine builders and maintenance teams. Send the code number, or the displacement, shaft, porting and mounting, and we will quote availability and lead time.

Danfoss: Common Questions
Yes, and it is the fastest route. Send the code number exactly as printed; displacement, shaft, porting and mounting are all encoded in it.
They are different displacement and torque classes within the orbital motor range. OMP and OMR cover light to medium duty, OMH goes higher on torque. Send the duty and we will confirm which family fits.
Yes. Shaft seal failure is the usual first symptom and a seal kit is far cheaper than a motor. Send the motor code and we will quote the kit.
Usually. Send the old code and the application. Where a series has been superseded we will identify the current equivalent rather than quote a number that no longer ships.
Our focus is Power Solutions: hydraulics, motors and valves. Tell us what you need and we will say honestly whether it is something we source well.
Send the code number for the existing bank or section. If you are configuring new, we need the number of functions, flow per section, and the control type.
