Saw & Tool Sharpening Machinery

We source and supply VOLLMER sharpening technology, built by VOLLMER Werke Maschinenfabrik in Biberach, Germany. VOLLMER is far more than a circular-saw sharpener. It builds CNC grinding and eroding machines for carbide-tipped circular saws, rotary cutting tools such as drills and milling cutters, and metal- and wood-cutting bandsaws. The common thread is precise, repeatable reconditioning of cutting geometry, tooth faces, tooth tops, and side angles.
For circular saws, we supply machines like the CHX 840 and CHX 1300, which use five CNC-controlled axes and VOLLMER's original double grinding wheel technology to machine tooth faces and tooth tops in a single set-up across all common tooth geometries. For rotary tools, VOLLMER pairs grinding (VGrind for carbide) with wire and disc eroding (for PCD/polycrystalline diamond tools), plus hybrid and laser machining (VLaser) for the most abrasive materials and micro-tools.
VOLLMER serves three groups we support directly, namely tool manufacturers producing new tools, sharpening services reconditioning tools for others, and saw mills maintaining their own blades. On top of the machines, VOLLMER offers automation and loading systems and digital solutions (V@dison process management and predictive maintenance) so saw shops can push toward unattended, higher-throughput operation.
We stock and supply the grinding wheels, dressing tools and wear parts that keep VOLLMER machines running, so you are not idled waiting on specialty consumables. We work as a sourcing and support partner rather than a shelf-stock warehouse, matching the right machine and technology to your tool types and coordinating delivery, commissioning and ongoing consumable supply.

Vollmer: Common Questions
No. VOLLMER covers circular saws, rotary cutting tools (drills and milling cutters) and bandsaws. Its machines both grind and erode, so the same supplier can handle carbide-tipped saws and PCD-tipped tools.
Grinding machines (such as the CHX circular-saw series and VGrind for carbide rotary tools) recondition tooth faces, tooth tops, and geometries. Eroding machines use wire/disc erosion to machine PCD (polycrystalline diamond) tools, which are too hard and abrasive for conventional grinding.
Flagship models like the CHX 840 and CHX 1300 use five CNC-controlled axes and VOLLMER's double grinding wheel technology to machine tooth faces and tooth tops in a single set-up across common tooth geometries.
