SKODOCK Metal Hoses

A corrugated metal hose carries movement, vibration and thermal growth in a line that rigid pipe cannot absorb, and it does it at temperatures and pressures where rubber will not survive. Stainless construction handles steam, thermal oil and aggressive media.

Assemblies are specified by more than bore and length. Movement type, whether the hose is bending, offsetting or absorbing axial growth, decides the braid and the end fittings, and a hose asked to take the wrong movement fails by fatigue at the cuff rather than by burst.
