Request a QuoteThe bellows is the flexible element at the heart of a metal expansion joint or compensator, formed from thin-wall stainless or special alloy into a corrugated profile that flexes without fatiguing.
Wall thickness, ply count and convolution geometry set the trade-off between movement capacity and pressure rating: more plies raise pressure capability, deeper convolutions raise movement. Cycle life falls off quickly if the bellows is asked to take more movement than it was formed for.
