Induflex—industrial equipment

We source and stock the full Induflex program of flexible connection components, including compensators (expansion joints), industrial hoses, fittings, and couplings, built by INDUFLEX Schlauch- und Kompensatoren GmbH of Henstedt-Ulzburg, Germany. Induflex engineers these parts for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food/beverage industries and for OEM machine and machine-line builders, where a reliable flexible link between tanks, piping, pumps, and filling stations is critical.

Our compensator range covers rubber, metal, and PTFE expansion joints. Rubber compensators come in a fixed-length flat-waved Type I for high flexibility and a very short Type II for extreme movement, with multi-wave (3- and 5-wave) versions for higher-temperature service. We can specify them with longitudinal limiters, ball-and-socket restraints, guide and protection tubes, and either welding ends or threaded connections so the joint matches your line pressure, movement, and installation.

On the hose side we supply corrugated stainless steel metal hoses, rubber-spiral and industrial rubber hoses, and PTFE (Teflon) hoses, each paired with the correct fittings and quick-release or safety couplings. Metal and PTFE constructions handle high temperature, high pressure, aggressive acids and bases, and high-purity media that exceed the limits of standard elastomers; heated hoses and heated tubing keep temperature-sensitive media flowing.

We handle U.S. sourcing, technical selection, and pre-assembled build-to-spec assemblies, matching each component to your fluid, temperature, and pressure so you get fewer leaks, longer service life, and safer transfer. Send us the media, operating conditions, and connection details and we will quote the right Induflex configuration.

Typical Applications

  • Flexible connections between tanks, pumps, piping, and filling stations that absorb thermal expansion, vibration, and misalignment
  • Aggressive chemical transfer of acids and bases using PTFE-lined hoses and expansion joints
  • Sanitary and high-purity transfer lines in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing
  • High-temperature / high-pressure runs where corrugated stainless steel metal hose and metal bellows replace elastomers
  • Heated hose and tubing circuits for media that must be maintained at temperature
  • Vibration and movement isolation on pumps, compressors, and reciprocating equipment via rubber and metal compensators

Induflex: Common Questions

A compensator (expansion joint) absorbs thermal expansion, vibration, and misalignment between rigid pipe runs, while a hose provides a longer flexible transfer connection between equipment. Induflex makes both, in rubber, metal, and PTFE, so we can match the part to whether you are isolating movement or routing media.

Rubber suits water, air, and lower-duty service economically; PTFE handles aggressive acids, bases, and high-purity requirements; corrugated stainless steel metal handles temperatures and pressures beyond elastomer limits. Tell us your media, temperature, and pressure and we will specify the right construction.

Yes. Depending on the application they can be equipped with longitudinal limiters, ball-and-socket restraints, guide and protection tubes, and welding-end or threaded connections, and we supply pre-assembled assemblies built to your specification.
