Request a QuoteDry-running linear guides replace recirculating ball bearings with polymer sliding elements. There is nothing to recirculate, so there is nothing for dust and swarf to jam, which is why they suit woodworking, textiles and other environments that destroy ball guides.
They are quieter and lighter than ball guides and carry less load at lower rigidity, so they suit positioning and handling rather than machine tool axes. Where a ball guide is failing repeatedly through contamination rather than load, a dry guide is usually the better answer.
