END-Armaturen actuators drive its butterfly and ball valve lines, with pneumatic part-turn actuators (in-house-developed and lower-cost economy lines) and electric part-turn actuators (the "Watergates" series) sized from small manual-override units up to high-torque motor drives.

Actuators mount directly to END's own valve bodies per the standard ISO 5211 interface, so an actuator ordered here pairs straight onto the matching butterfly or ball valve from the Valves page.

Types & Configurations

  • pneumatic
  • electric

Specifications

Pneumatic (double-acting/spring-return)Up to ~4,128 Nm at 6 bar; black-anodized, hard-coat, nickel, or PTFE coating
Electric ("Watergates" series)50–2,500 Nm; waterproof aluminum housing, worm-gear drive, manual override, optical position indicator
MountingEN 12116 / ISO 5211 standard interface

Specifications are indicative and vary by model. We confirm exact specs on your quote.

Applications

  • Automating manual butterfly/ball valves
  • Remote or programmed valve control
  • Retrofit actuation on existing END valves

END-Armaturen Actuators: Common Questions

Both ways. Stand-alone pneumatic and electric actuators, or fitted and matched to the valve as a ready-to-install assembly.

The valve it drives, the supply pressure or voltage, the torque required, and the fail position you need on loss of power or air.

Spring-return drives the valve to a defined safe position when power or air is lost; double-acting holds wherever it was. The process decides which is safe.

Yes. Send the valve type and its mounting pattern, or a photo of the valve top works.
