Coded and RFID-coded switches resist defeat, which is what distinguishes a genuine safety device from a position switch. Solenoid interlocks add guard locking where a machine takes time to come to a safe state.

Send the type designation. Safety components have to match the rating and function the machine was assessed with, so we quote the direct replacement or the manufacturer's stated successor rather than a near equivalent.
Not on its own. The performance level comes from the whole chain: the sensing device, the evaluation unit and the final element that removes power. A high-rated switch feeding an ordinary relay does not produce a high-rated safety function.
Defeat resistance. A coded device identifies one specific actuator rather than any actuator, which is the entire point of a coded safety switch.
When the machine takes time to reach a safe state. Below that, a coded interlock that reports guard position is enough.
