Request a QuotePress pads are the compressible layer between the heated platen and the press plate, and their job is to even out pressure so that every part of the panel sees the same cure. They are built from steel wire and high-temperature fiber to survive repeated compression at temperature.
Because they degrade gradually rather than failing outright, the real cost of running a pad too long is paid in panel quality: gloss variation, uneven cure, thickness deviation. Planned replacement is cheaper than the reject rate.
