Request a QuoteA steam trap removes condensate without passing live steam, and a failed trap costs money quietly. Failed open, it vents steam continuously; failed closed, it waterlogs the line and the heat transfer surface behind it stops working.
Trap type follows the duty. Float and thermostatic traps suit modulating loads, thermodynamic traps suit drip legs and mains drainage, and thermostatic traps suit tracing and small loads.
Send the line size and connection, operating and differential pressure, condensate load, and the application, or the ARI figure number for a like-for-like replacement.
