Brandenburger S 7000
The S 7000 ablation material was developed to complement the S 5000® material. The primary material components are based on mineral reinforcement materials with carbon, bound in modified, thermosetting silicon rubber systems.

Areas of application:
The Brandenburger S 7000 is used in combustion and object protection for areas exposed to the extremely hot, high-velocity exhaust jets from rocket engines.
The ablation rate depends on the duration of exposure and the other performance data of the rocket engine, as well as the distance and contact angle of the core area of the emission streams.
