The AE 2000 N material is available as an uncured, malleable, non-oriented glass fiber mat saturated in resin, with a thickness of approximately five mm. The curing is done in accordance with special installation instructions.

Special material characteristics:

Corrosion and uneven pressure distribution in presses can be a cause for unevenness and insufficient plane parallelism. With the AE 2000 N, a compensation of approximately 0.4 mm per inlay may be achieved.

The compensation inlay offers the following advantages:

Areas of application:

The compensation inlays are used exclusively to correct unevenness and deviations from parallelism, mainly in heated presses. They are installed at the rear of the hot plate, in front of or behind the insulation depending on the insulation thickness and the temperature of the hot plate.
