Wemhoener System Technologies
Throughout its 75 year history, the company has been led by the Wemhoener family. In 1925 Heinrich Wemhoener founded a one man blacksmith shop. His company grew and flourished by supplying innovative machine and tool solutions to the developing East Westfalia furniture industry.
The development of annual spindle and frame presses as well as disc sanding machines brought Wemhoener recognition beyond the borders of East Westfalia and Germany.
In 1951 Heinrich's eldest son, also Heinrich, refocused the company, specializing now in presses for the wood and furniture industry by moving this production brand to a new production facility while keeping the old one for Wemhoener Anlagen...the handling technology specialist.
As the furniture manufacturing industry grew, productivity and throughput requirements were ever increasing. Developing, manufacturing and implementing solutions to new and chalanging automation applications became a hallmark for Wemhoener Anlagen - now - Wemhoener System Technologies.
Today Wemhoener System Technologies supplies solutions in machinery for different industries such as the car tire industy, the chemical industry and the woodworking industry.
The most recent new developments are the " X - Trim " series of double end tenoners for high speed processing of laminate flooring with an optional newly designed small double chain transport system, the new longitudinal saw with automatic width adjustment and the soundblock application machine.
