Kortrijk 09/04/2009. Välinge Innovation AB’s sister company Välinge Innovation Belgium BVBA has entered into a world-wide license agreement with the German machine producer Wemhöner Systems Technologies AG.

Välinge Innovation Belgium has during half year further developed and improved the original idea of Välinge regarding a pressed down bevel, its production process and the necessary equipment.

Together with Wemhöner a new machining concept has been developed. The machine prototype was already presented a first time during the Wemhöner house fair in December 2008. A fully operational machine will now be exhibited on the upcoming Ligna fair in May.

Wemhöner will start the exclusive commercialization of this high speed bevel pressing unit. Välinge Innovation Belgium will be licensing the product.

The by Välinge developed bevel has numerous advantage over the traditional taped, lacquered or painted bevels traditionally used in the laminate market.

“By using this unique machining concept a high speed stable production can be maintained allowing the producers to keep up with the production standards applicable in modern laminate production ” says Eddy Boucké, R&D engineer at Välinge Innovation Belgium.

Our earlier announced co-operation with Wemhöner is a successful partnership which we will further intensify in the future. “
